IFI OPEN DAY: 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY

The IFI is the only cinema in the country capable of showing films in the large 70mm format, which is the only way to see Stanley Kubrick’s science-fiction epic. Based on Arthur C. Clarke’s short story, the film’s centrepiece is a space mission to investigate a mysterious signal from Jupiter.

Tickets for all films will become available at 11am on February 6th from the IFI. Tickets will not be available online or by phone, with a maximum of 4 tickets per person, all allocated on a first come, first served basis. Arrive early as tickets are expected to go quickly!
